Project Overview
Paradise Shave Ice is a visually engaging website designed to represent a client’s business and showcase their unique offerings. The website features dynamic animations and an intuitive user interface to create an immersive experience for visitors. It allows users to explore Paradise Shave Ice’s products effortlessly, delivering both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
This project provided an opportunity to hone my skills in web design and development, focusing on custom animations, form handling, and modern routing techniques.
The Tech Stack
The website was built using SvelteKit, which ensured a smooth development process while delivering high performance and a responsive user experience. SvelteKit’s versatility allowed me to build a feature-rich application efficiently.
For animations, I utilized GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) to create smooth, eye-catching transitions and effects. These animations contributed to the site’s polished and professional feel.
Product data and routing were managed using a JSON file and [slug]-based dynamic routing, marking my first time implementing this approach. It allowed for clean, organized product pages that could scale as the business grows.
